About Us

Customers Come First With Aus Renewables

Customer experience, satisfaction and results are key for the team at Aus Renewables.

Our leadership team and many of our staff have experienced the bad side of the solar industry, with cowboy companies providing no payment to staff, no customer service and no results. Our own experiences of being ‘burned’ by the industry is the driver behind our passion and customer driven focus. Put simply, we want our customers to have a better experience with solar than some of the experiences we have had in the past, those we hear of in the news, online or from people we meet.

We personally take responsibility to set better standards and try to influence the industry as a whole to hold higher standards too. This means doing good quality work, using good quality equipment, treating and paying our staff well and providing better education and improvement opportunities for them, having a long term plan in place for the business to ensure we will be around to provide servicing to our customers in the future and most importantly taking responsibility when something goes wrong.

We know that every household and business is different in their usage times and habits and its physical design. Our team will take the time to understand your needs and design your system to suit you, not just to be easy for our installation team. We will tailor the right system to suit your specific needs and won’t walk away if a job is too hard. We don’t believe in one size system fits all and have selected some of the best products on the market to offer incomparable product and system performance, as well as longevity.

Our Offered Services

Solar power is clean, renewable and cost effective.

Renewable

Solar energy is a renewable energy source. This means that we cannot run out of solar energy, as opposed to non-renewable energy sources (e.g. fossil fuels, coal and nuclear).

Abundant

The potential of solar energy is beyond imagination.
The surface of the earth receives 120,000 terawatts of solar radiation (sunlight) – 20,000 times more power than what is needed to supply the entire world.

Sustainable

An abundant and renewable energy source is also sustainable. Sustainable energy sources meet the needs of the current population, without compromising the needs of future generations. In other words, solar energy is sustainable because there is no way we can over-consume.

Environmentally Friendly

Harnessing solar energy does generally not cause pollution. However, there are emissions associated with the manufacturing, transportation and installation of solar power systems – almost nothing compared to most conventional energy sources. It is clear that solar energy reduces our dependence on non-renewable energy sources. This is an important step in fighting the climate crisis.

Great Availability

Solar energy is available all over the world.
Not only the countries that are closest to the Equator can put solar energy to use – Germany, for example, has by far the highest capacity of solar power in the world.

Reduces Electricity Costs

With the introduction of net metering and feed-in tariff (FIT) schemes, homeowners can now “sell” excess electricity, or receive bill credits, during times when they produce more electricity than what they actually consume.

Renewable Options Are Inevitable

Integrating variable renewables into the grid will require investment in transmission networks and energy storage such as pumped hydro and batteries.

But doing nothing is not an option, as coal-fired power stations are reaching the end of their useful lives, and cannot simply be replaced.

Take control of your energy bills. The power to save is all around you.

Savings on your bill

The ultimate and on-going financial benefit from solar power is a reduced electricity bill. Some of our clients have seen up to a 75% reduction in their monthly electricity costs thanks to solar. A solar system will offset any of the variable charges on your bill, whether they are Energy, Network, Environmental or Market/Ancillary charges. On top of this, solar can impact and potentially reduce Demand and Capacity charges under your Network costs – this is however dependent on your tariff structure from your retailer.

Solar will deliver month-on-month and year-on-year savings on your bill thanks to the long term warranties that accompany your system.
